TruConnect, sometimes called TruConnect Wireless and formerly called TruConnect Mobile, is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that operates in the United States that provides pay-as-you-go plans, Wi-Fi plans, free phone services, smartphones and free phone services through the Lifeline and Affordable Care Program (ACP). Lifeline and ACP are government programs to connect people who need help with cell services; unlimited Calling, texting, and free monthly data.
TruConnect was founded in 2011 and provides 4G and 5G cell services. It uses the T-Mobile infrastructure to provide these wireless services.
TruConnect Lifeline
TruConnect is part of the federal government lifeline program that provides free phone, unlimited calling and texting Texting, and 14 GB of monthly data connectivity. To qualify for this, you need to be part of one of these programs, SNAP, SSI, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, Tribal-specific programs like TTANF, Income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty, veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit ProgramsGuidelines. If you meet one of these, apply for TruConnect Lifeline program.

TruConnect Free Phones
TruConnect free Android phone available currently is the Cloud Mobile Stratus C5. It is however available for purchase for $80 if you do not qualify.
The other phone available is the Cloud Mobile Mist Flip, a flip phone, going for $50.
Additionally, there’s a subsidized Android tablet going for $10.01, Sunshine Elite Tablet.
TruConnect Replacement Phone
TruConnect can replace your phone if it got lost or damaged within the warranty period.

TruConnect provides hotspot services for free with ACP approval for eligible people and at $30 for 8GB. Cloud Mobile Sky 4G LTE hotspot is used to provide the hotspot services.
