For an iPhone or any other iOS device, navigate to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network then input the settings below:

Save the settings then select Telstra as the active APN. Restart your device for the settings to take effect immediately.
To set your device to pick up available networks automatically, head over to Settings > Network and Internet > Internet > Settings > Automatically Select Network. Your device will pick the best available signal.
