APN(Access Point Names) is required by any service provider in order to connect to the internet. Your smartphone sometimes gets them automatically from the service provider but when this doesn’t happen you will need to set them manually. For Tata Docomo, SMS the word INTERNET to 52270 to automatically get your settings then save the settings you will receive.
For prepay data packages, dial *144# and for postpaid, dial *189#.
