In just over a week, February 14, Samsung will be launching a clamshell smartphone that looks like, Motorola Moto Razr. This means final versions of the device are out and they are headed to countries that will receive the device immediately it is launched. Samsung is thought to targetting a female audience with this device considering its size and the size of women’s pockets – Not that deep. A folding regular-sized phone fits well for the ladies. The choice of February 14th isn’t quite a coincidence as it is valentines day. This is in line with last year’s leaks and goes ahead to confirm the tall aspect ratio, smaller AMOLED display beside the main camera that shows the clock and other essential phone information and the folding nature of this year’s version. I’m in love with this device.
As the day nears, higher definition leaks are bound to be out and Ice Universe on Instagram shared a video of the device.
Here’s the video.
The Galaxy Z Flip with come packing a taller than regular display aspect ratio, 22:9. This aspect ratio is taller than Sony Xperia 1, currently the tallest phone when the aspect ratio is the factor.
This smartphone is also expected to come featuring last year’s Snapdragon 855 as Samsung reserved Snapdragon 865 for the Galaxy S11 and Galaxy Note 11.
