It’s official, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro launch event will be on Tuesday, Oct 19, 2021, at 10 am PT.
Google revealed the design and some specifications of the device a few months ago on Twitter but still kept the official launch date a secret, likely waiting for the iPhone 13 event so they could price it appropriately.
Notably, this will come with a new SoC that Google called Google Tensor. It is expected to offer ambient computing and enhance Artificial Intelligence on the device as current Qualcomm-powered devices can not offer all that Google would like to see on their branded device.
Other specifications are typical 2021 specification, punch hole for the front camera, 120Hz and 90 Hz for the 6 Pro and 6 at 6.4 and 6.7 inches respectively. The Pro has a slightly curved screen while the 6 has a flat display. The Pro has 3 main camera setup and the 6 a dual camera setup.
