Access Pont Name (APN) is required by all broadband service providers in order to connect to the internet via a 4G, LTE, 3G, etc network. This contains the name of the gateway at the internet service provider that connects users to the public internet.
You will need to set this when settings up a new SIM or when changing SIM from one provider like Airtel Uganda to Lycamobile.
Lycamobile APN Internet Settings for iPhone
Navigate to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network then input the settings below.
- APN: internet
- Username: (Leave blank)
- Password: (Leave blank)

Lycamobile APN Internet Settings for Android Devices
Navigate to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names then add new APN. Input the settings below. You may also find this under Wireless and internet or connections then mobile connections in some Android devices.

Select Lycamobile as the active APN then restart your device.
