Official: Galaxy Unpacked event has been scheduled to take place on August 11 at 10 a.m. ET. Samsung sent out an invitation to everyone yesterday through a Galaxy Unpacked: Get Ready To Unfold update. From the title, it is a folding devices event with some wearables. Galaxy Fold 3, Galaxy Flip 3, Galaxy Watch 4, and Galaxy Buds 2.
The next folding devices are expected to be 20% cheaper with updated specifications and durable display coating on the folding sides. Galaxy Flip 3 is expected to have a dual main camera, slimmer bezels on a 6.7-inch folding display panel.
For the Galaxy Fold 3, it has been rumored to retain the 6.2 inches with a punch hole on the outer display. The folding inner display is to have a 7.5-inch display running at 120 Hz with a punch hole containing a 16-megapixel camera. The new glass coating has been rumored to eliminate the crease. Exciting to see the development as the Galaxy Fold 2 suffered this mishap.
Galaxy Buds 2 has been rumored to offer some level of noise canceling. This is the Watch that ditches Samsung’s own Tizen OS in favor of a version of Android that they made in collaboration with Google. Also rumored is a price reduction.
