Facebook notifies your friends and followers when it is your birthday so they can make wishes for you. People typically post on your wall. Some people do not like this at all. To stop Facebook from notifying friends about your birthday permanently, change the privacy of your birthday to only you so that only you can be able to see it.
Disabling your date of birth from being viewed by everyone is also important in maintaining privacy. Giving everyone access to your birthday is never a good idea as we need them in making private transactions or accounts creation. That’s why it does not make much sense giving it away to friends and everyone who views your profile.
