With the advent and popularity of selfies in the recent past, Smartphone manufacturers haven’t been left out in making selfie-focused cameras. Asus isn’t left out in the mix and they now have their own ZenFone Selfie following the likes of HTC with their Eye, Sony with Their C2, and many more. Notably many smartphones nowadays come with a higher megapixel count on their front-facing cameras unlike before coupled with a lot more software additions to improve your selfie-taking experience.
Asus ZenFone Selfie seeks to redefine this experience by going for a 13 Megapixel f/2.2 shooter with a dual-LED flash on it. There are also a lot of software features like a ‘Beautification’ feature that enhances the looks of your face by toning down facial features, smoothing edges and lightening up your skin color so that you may appear fantastic and good looking, at least on pictures. A panorama feature and 88 degrees field of view is also included to enable you to take group pictures. A concept is similar to Huawei’s ‘Groufie’ feature.

The rear camera isn’t left out that much since it also comes packing a 13-megapixel camera assisted by a laser auto-focus similar to the one on LG G3 and G4. As expected, there is a dual-LED flash just like the front camera.
It comes running Android With Zen UI on it, has a Snapdragon 615 powering it, and a 1920 *1080 – 5.5 inch IPS screen. As seen above, this phone is LG inspired. The back button placement and other features akin to LG except the selfie are all enhanced here.
